"My goal as a teacher is to foster a learning environment where students can explore and question, developing a sense of curiosity and confidence in their abilities. I believe in moving beyond rote memorization, encouraging students to see science as a powerful tool for understanding the world."

"As a science teacher, I will strive to equip students with the tools necessary to effectively experiment and learn. In the age of Google and ChatGPT, anyone can find the correct information, but who can articulate their understanding, or design an experiment to learn more about a multi-faceted problem? This highlights the need for inquiry, not recall, to be the foundation of the modern science classroom. I have two overarching goals for my classroom."
