The Nebraska Academy of Sciences, in partnership with NATS and UNK-Biology, are proud to present a unique opportunity to witness the 2024 Great Crane Migration!
NAS will supply transportation from Omaha and from Lincoln to the Crane Trust to witness the yearly phenomenon of half of a million sandhill cranes as they descend upon Nebraska's Platte River. University of Nebraska at Kearney ornithologists will be on hand to enhance the viewing and offer a lecture on the migration. Please note, as we have been offered a blind from the Crane Trust for this event, space is strictly limited to 22 participants.
